This piece combines abstraction of background elements and branches of Teatree I was drawn to in the Cooloola National Park. New growth bursts forth in pinks and catches the onlookers attention. The development of my work into abstract botanical references is not new. I use colour and form to suggest movement and change in patterns and seasons. If you look close enough to can recognise botanical elements that contribute to the raw and innate beauty of the piece.
